Head of Operations

Key Responsibilities

Build Operations from Scratch: Lead the setup of all operational processes and structures, ensuring that our production facilities are efficient and effective from day one.
Drive Efficiency at Scale: Implement strategies to optimize production workflows, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance as we expand.
Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to foster ongoing improvements in productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Team Development: Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing operational team across compliance, technical procurement, supply chain, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with regulatory standards and company policies, with a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental practices.

Requirements

Experience: Solid experience in operations management, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or chemical sectors, with a proven track record of scaling production processes and building operational structures.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex operational functions through effective leadership and communication.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to assess performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management, with an emphasis on recycling or sustainable practices.
Sustainability Passion: A deep commitment to advancing sustainable practices in operations and contributing to the company’s mission of making a positive impact on the planet.
