Analog Design Manager
We are looking for an Analog Design Manager to lead our group of talented analog design engineers, who are working on next generation sensor designs and architectures in our Brussels location. This leadership position is part of an advanced technology team which is enabling the next generation of image sensors. The successful candidate will bring their deep knowledge and proven experience in sensor design to yield the highest quality of first silicon success. Your main focus will be on managing the IC analog team inside the IC Design Center.

Responsibilities
- Lead a group of analog design engineers working on next-generation sensor designs and architectures.
- Manage the IC analog team inside the IC Design Center, ensuring quality and timely deliverables.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IC projects from design feasibility to mass production support.
- Coach and assist team members on project tasks, ensuring adherence to quality and timing expectations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and regulations.
- Define, execute, and follow up on roadmap and developments.
- Manage team operation risks through monitoring, assessment, and mitigation.
- Drive flow and methodology improvements to enhance team efficiency.
- Define, implement, and maintain necessary tools to support team activities.
- Manage team members, including assignment, competence management, performance evaluation, and hiring.
- Collaborate closely with relevant teams in Europe and Japan.
- Promote innovation within the team’s scope of activities.
- Track and control budget for the team and projects.
- Regularly report status updates to the IC design center manager.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering, PhD preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in analog design, with minimum 3 years in a team-leading position.
- Experience in the Image Sensor industry is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, strong command of English.
- Deep understanding of advanced analog concepts.
- Familiarity with analog layout and ability to analyze and debug.
- Proven track record of achievement in the analog domain.
- Good understanding of semiconductor physics, process, and device implementation.
- Experience working with external and internal technical teams.
- Analytical mindset, commitment to quality, and attention to detail.
- Goal-oriented, pragmatic, and innovative problem-solver.
- Ability to provide clear reporting internally and externally.
- Willingness to travel internationally if needed.
