Partner Development Manager
About the Position The Partner Development Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with many of our top partners. You will also launch relationships, capitalize on business opportunities, plan go-to-market and promotion executions, resolve issues, analyze and track key metrics to identify trends. You will be a key partner contact, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver implementations designed to bring success to each customer in our client’s ecosystem team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis, and communicate with the team.
- Forecast and report key metrics, tracking actual progress toward forecasts.
- Identify opportunities and drive partner products and services growth.
- Build long-term relationships to realize and optimize value from all industry partnerships.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years’ experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development within the consumer cloud service/automotive area.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German; other languages will be a plus.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in technology sales within cloud services/partner/alliance sales.
- Strategic business thinker coupled with a passion for execution.
- Proven sales management track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quotas, focusing on solving customer problems, and taking new products and solutions to market.
- Established network and experience within the cloud industry.
- Ability to manage partnerships by balancing tactical trading and strategic direction while delivering profit and loss.
- Strong business acumen with insights into competitor offerings.
- Knowledge in industry-related solutions (Data/SAP/Energy/Sustainability, etc.) is a plus.
- Highly motivated with the ability to thrive in a fluid, demanding, and fast-paced environment.
