Principle BMS System Architect
Principal BMS System Architect
We are looking for an experienced Principal BMS System Architect to lead the development of new system concepts and innovative architectures. You will be a key point of contact with customers, helping to understand their needs and shaping our future system and product strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evaluation of future BMS system architectures.
- Create high-level functional product specifications based on customer requirements.
- Compare different system designs to find the best balance between cost, performance, power, and size.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to support customer projects and system proposals.
- Build strong relationships with key customers.
- Explore potential innovations in system architecture and software.
- Help define future reference designs and product demonstrations.
- Keep up-to-date with market trends and propose ideas for future products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in system engineering and product design, specifically in automotive Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Strong expertise in automotive BMS systems.
- Experience with automotive OEMs or suppliers is a plus.
- Familiarity with automotive quality and safety standards like AEC-100 and ISO26262.
- Ability to work in international, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in English (other languages like German or French are a plus).
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
